The youngest Pharaoh in Egyptian history, King Tutankhamun was only 19 when he died.
Howard Carter, a Archaeologist from England finally opened King Tut’s tomb in 1923. Carter arrived in Thebes in 1891 with assumption that the tomb of King Tut may be close by. Carter searched for five years under the funding of a rich Englishman Lord Carnarvon. Carnarvon was ready to call of the search but with Carter still hopeful, they pushed on for another year. This payed off as they located and reached the mummified body of King Tut in 1923.
